Quality Care Made Accessible
We are proud to partner with major insurance providers and scholarship programs to help families access the care they need.
Simply provide us with your insurance details, and we will contact your provider to find out exactly what is covered, including your co-pay or deductible, before your first visit.
Most insurance plans require a formal referral or prescription from a pediatrician to cover occupational therapy. We can coordinate with your doctor’s office to help secure the necessary paperwork once we begin the evaluation process.
OTogether is a registered provider for the Step Up For Students (FES-UA) scholarship. Our team is experienced with the billing portal and will guide you through the process to ensure your child receives the care they need.

Your Questions, Answered
The things parents really want to know before their child’s first visit.
if your child struggles with everyday activities - like getting dressed, holding a pencil, focusing in class, tolerating certain textures, or managing emotions during transitions - occupational therapy can help. Our evaluation process is designed to pinpoint your child’s specific strengths and challenges, and give you a clear, honest picture of whether OT is the right next step.
ABA focuses on modifying specific behaviors through reinforcement. Occupational therapy takes a broader approach - instead of addressing the behavior itself, we look at why it’s happening. Is your child overwhelmed by sensory input? Struggling with task demands beyond their current capacity? Our therapists assess sensory, motor, cognitive, and emotional factors to build your child’s internal capacity for self-regulation and problem-solving. For many families, OT is a strong complement to - or even a better fit than ABA. We’re happy to talk through your child’s specific situation.
Absolutely. Parent coaching is built into our approach, not added as an afterthought. Your therapist will design a personalized sensory diet plan - a daily menu of specific activities like movement breaks, weighted input, or texture play - tailored to your child’s needs. You’ll also get practical home strategies, equipment recommendations, and regular progress check-ins. We want you to feel confident reinforcing skills between visits, not dependent on the clinic alone.
Very. We communicate directly with pediatricians, teachers, and any other therapists your child works with so everyone operates from the same plan. This collaborative care model means your child’s progress at the clinic carries over into the classroom and at home - and the people in their life are celebrating the same wins.
Yes - you don’t need a diagnosis to come in for an evaluation. Many families reach out simply because something feels off: difficulty sitting still, sensitivity to textures or sounds, trouble with handwriting, or big emotional reactions during everyday routines. Our evaluation will pinpoint what’s going on and give you a clear path forward. Keep in mind that if you’d like to use insurance to cover ongoing therapy sessions, most plans do require a referral and diagnosis from your child’s pediatrician. Our team can guide you through that process.
